About our speaker: Gerard P. Cuddy, President & Chief Executive Officer
Gerard P. Cuddy has served as Beneficial Bank’s President and Chief Executive Officer since 2007, and is a banking veteran with over thirty years of broad management and senior leadership experience.
Since joining Beneficial, Mr. Cuddy has led the Company through its initial public offering and two major acquisitions, while directing Beneficial’s efforts to provide its customers with the education and resources to help them to do the right thing financially. He has been profiled and quoted numerous times in media outlets such as The New York Times, Philadelphia Inquirer and The Huffington Post.
Mr. Cuddy is the Chairman of St. Cyril’s Catholic Parish in East Lansdowne and serves on the boards of the Foreign Policy Research Institute, the Philadelphia Union League and Rosemont College. Mr. Cuddy also serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia Community Depository Institution Advisory Council. He is a past board member of the Education and Finance Committees of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and BLOCS (Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools) as well as the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Franklin Institute.
Mr. Cuddy holds a BA in Economics from Villanova University and earned his MBA at St. Joseph’s University. He and his family reside in Rosemont, Pennsylvania.
